DeSalvo, Iona E. (nee Boal) Passed away peacefully at Broadview Nursing Home, Smiths Falls on Saturday, March 21, 2009 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late James. Loving mother of Lois (late Jim) Morris and John DeSalvo. Cherished grandmother of Crystal (Mike Wark) and "Jim Bob"; and great-grandmother of Aspynne and Trinidy Wark. Iona will also be remembered by her many extended family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11 o'clock. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
