My deepest and sincere condolences. David and I shared the same love for gaming. I have met many people online, but with Bishop, his warm personality, patience and tireless perseverance drew me to him and we became good friends. I am DodgerRoger, and David and the rest of our online 'clan' involuntarily created a special version of 'Cheers' online where we could just show up and people would know you by name. Although we had for some time known that his condition was deteriorating, I had a difficult time accepting his passing. He was a bright light in our group, and he will be missed. We will remember him for his kindness, humor, and courage in the face of insurmountable odds. Eyes up, Guardians.

He was my teammate on many missions. He was an avid gamer, and I got to share that part of his life. It grew into a great friendship. We shared quite a bit about our lives. My dear Uncle Eddie and Aunt Sue, I'm still in shock with the news of David's passing. My love and heartfelt condolences to you both at this incredibly difficult time and to Janeanne and Ben and your families for this devastating loss. Although I didn't get to see my cousin over the years as much as I would have liked, the times we were together, were some of the happiest times of my life and I will cherish those memories - David always put a smile on my face and knew exactly what to say to warm my heart. I will miss him terribly.
