Brian, Yvonne & Family, Chris, Angie & Family - all Family Members. I had the pleasure of knowing Ralph & calling him "my friend" for over 40 years. I curled with him at the old club on James Street and the new club. We were in many bonspiels together here and across Eastern Ont. & Que. One of my fondest memories is at Montebello when Ron & I and Judy Fournier curled in a bonspiel, with Ralph as skip, of course. We had so many laughs. Halloween was lots of laughs, as he would dress up and try to scare my then young nieces. He & Dorothy are now together. Ralph was a wonderful man! Sincerely, Marilyn.

I knew Ralph as the diesel inspector working out of Smiths Falls. I met with him every first Friday in December in Toronto. It was the annual Toronto Railway Club dinner. Ralph was on duty and had his own table. When the CP hot freight, either 928 or 930 departed Obico for Montreal, it had the business cars of various CP officials. Ralph had to ride the train, on the head end, in the cab of a unit, as maintenance protection in case of trouble. Not very glamorous, but that's the way Ralph was, doing his job. Ride on friend.
