Dear Judy and Lorraine, and Families: I'm very sorry for the loss of your mother, my Aunt Jean. Growing up as next door neighbours, I have many fond memories of spending time in your family home with Uncle John and Aunt Jean. I remember having dinner at your place one time as a young child and declaring that Aunt Jean had cooked the "most delicious fish" I had ever eaten. We spent lots of time sitting around your kitchen table talking about the latest events and visiting with extended family. I also remember some long car rides with us cousins and our mothers -- usually to get groceries in Perth or even to go to the Stittsville flea-market. Our families were always very close and I appreciate the kindness that has been shared over the years. While I was too young to remember Aunt Jean's fiddle-playing days, I have seen some great photos of her in her youth playing and dancing with the best of them. May her gentle soul rest in peace. With love, Jennifer and Family
