Marj was my neighbor on Joy Avenue for many years, and of course she saved me thousands in taxes! She was a wonderful neighbor, with lots of chats over the hedge. My lawn was never quite as immaculate as hers, but you could always count on her cheery voice and little visit. She always took an interest in my growing family, and was very kind to us. I am sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family. God bless.

Debbie and family: So sorry to hear this sad news. The first time I ever went to a casino was with Marg and she took me around and showed me the ropes. It is one of many great memories I have of her from H&M store right on up to tax time. She left a legacy you can all be proud of.

We were sorry to hear of Marj's passing. I am sure you will miss your mother and grandmother. I still remember her working in the H and M store many years ago. I know she organized many trips to the casino while at Carolina Suites and the residents loved it. You and your families are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Debbie, Lee and family.
Your mom had spunk and character and was so admirable for her zest and resolve to live life on her own terms. Falling ill and feeling helpless was just probably too much for her to bear. My heart goes out to all of you at this time. You are very much loved.

Dear Debbie and family
so sorry to learn of your mom's death. I first met her when I worked at the hospital when your Dad was a patient many years ago. Marjorie was the one who coaxed me into my one and only trip to a casino along with a few others from dietary, it was a fun day but never had the courage to go back. She was a
loyal loving wife to your Dad and set a wonderful example to others going through the same situation. My prayers are with you and yours.

Dear Debbie, Lynn and families,
I am so sorry for your loss and deeply regret not being here and able to attend Marjorie’s service. So many wonderful "Sherbrooke Street” memories of your dear Mom come to mind – too many to mention but will always be close to my heart. "Mrs. Leslie” was a dear friend, a great role model, always fun at heart with endless energy and an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be missed for sure.
Thinking of you with love,
