I always stopped to talk to Arnold as he was working about in his yard on my daily walks by with my little dog Shadow. Arnold always had something interesting to talk about, and he always had a cheerful smile. He was a gentle man and wonderful neighbour.

What a long and wonderful life Arnold had......and a family he took such pride in! I can still see Arnold walking up and down Kensington Avenue, at all hours of the day and night, with his striped overalls/cap, lunch pail and railroad issued lantern. He always had a hello to everyone he met and was such a kind and gentle soul. He will be missed by all those who lives he touched.
