Please accept my condolences and prayers for you all at this time of family tragedy. Anne was an amazing person and knowing her just enriched my life. I also was able to meet and befriend the other members of the family. I always enjoyed our get-together and convivial conversations. Again my prayers and sympathy are with you all at this time as you grieve.

Aunt Anne was so very special to me growing up. She was my Dad's favorite Aunt, which in turn made her mine. She was very supportive and taught me a lot about being a strong woman during difficult times. I was always very appreciative that Aunt Anne was the one who had taken on the task of breaking the news to me when my Father passed away. I was a child and I was devastated. She knew this was something that couldn't be fixed and didn't try to. While many were offering words of encouragement for better days ahead, she was real with me and said the same things I was feeling inside. I felt like she understood at my level and that was what I needed. I will never forget her compassion and love. Aunt Anne will always hold a very special place in my heart. God be with you Aunt Anne - we have all loved you so much.

We were blessed and fortunate to have Anne as neighbor at Millwood Avenue, having developed a very special relationship. She loved to bake and while I was away on a family trip my husband cooked a hot meal for himself, made extra and he dropped if off to Anne which from what she told me thoroughly enjoyed. Upon my arrival at home, there was a fresh apple pie on our counter, was he pleased. She found out his favorite was coconut cream, low and behold a knock on the door and pie in hand. So the circle began, unplanned delivered dinners and pie delivery at the door. Every time we hear coconut cream pie all we can think of is Anne, warm welcoming smile, sparkle in her eyes, kind and gracious, great sense of humor, wonderful laugh who loved a good story. Anne and I spent some quiet time together usually early evening or late afternoon. We would spend a lot of time talking about families, she was always so proud and thankful for all her family, sharing wonderful treasured memories which always bought a beautiful smile to her face and look of contentment.</p>
