Ballantyne, Evelyn Peacefully in the presence of her loving family, in hospital in Perth on Friday April 24th, 2009 Evelyn (Ferguson) Ballantyne at the age of 83 years. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents Margaret (North) and Thomas Ferguson, by her beloved husband Herbert in 1991, by son Keith in 1964 and by grandson Marcus in 1982. She was the dear mother of Maxeen (Alan) Munro, John, Norman and Herbert T. (Joy) Ballantyne. Evelyn will be sadly missed by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, brothers Carl (Doris) and Howard (Bernice) Ferguson, brother-in-law Clifford (Iva) Ballantyne and many McEwen, Bate, Ballantyne and Ferguson nieces and nephews. Evelyn will be fondly remembered by friends Mary Bowes and Edna Caron, she was predeceased by brothers and sisters-in law Margaret and Donald McEwen, Mary and Bob Bate, Hazel Ballantyne and Marina Ferguson. Friends may pay their respects at the Young Funeral Home, Lanark Monday April 27th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Paul's Anglican Church, Lanark Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. Interment, Pine Grove Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to St. Paul's Anglican Church Fund or fund of one's choice would be appreciated.
