George, Evelyn Pearl (Gillies) Evelyn passed away in Ottawa hospital on Sunday, June 25th, 2017 at the age of 76 years. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Pearl (Williams) Gillies and her beloved husband Walter George. Evelyn was the mother and grandmother of Thelma Gillies, Ronald George (Liane Schoop) and their daughter Rhonda George (Clay Elliott) and their children Jacob and Keegan Elliott; Ronald’s late wife Cindy Baxter and their children Mary George (Steve Williams), Amanda George (Derek Kenny) and their children Requelle, Loclan, Maliki, Kaydance and Adelaide Kenny; the late Douglas George, David George, Paul George and Carl George. Evelyn was the sister of Stanley (late Ethel) Gillies, Ada Trombley, Donelda Gillies, late Norman Gillies, Russel (Joan) Gillies, late Ivan Gillies, Clarence (Margaret) Gillies and Larry (late Linda) Gillies. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Friday, June 30th, 2017 from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 3:00 P.M.
