So very sorry to hear of Andy's passing. He truly was such a nice man, with a deep love for his family, and liked nothing more than a good laugh and times with loved ones. I know you will all miss him terribly, find solace in your memories and that he is no longer suffering.

I have many fond memories with Mr C, many from the cottage as that's where we spent much of our time growing up. I remember in the winters he always got an old sled going for us to zip around on. He will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathy goes out to everyone.

Dad and I want to express our deepest sympathies and sadness to your entire family. We will miss spending time with Andy in Florida. It just won't be the same without him on the golf course! We will be sure to toast him and make a shot or two in his honor.

Mr. Fix It

I met Andy visiting my Dad in Florida. Every time I saw Andy he was riding his 3 wheeler full of tools to go help someone in need. My Dad was often in need of a hand and Andy always came to the rescue. He should have had a rescue siren on that bike! He always had a smile on his face and the sweetest chuckle. We had such wonderful times playing golf with Andy. I only wish I had more time with both Andy and Marge but I did have 8 wonderful visits. I will be missing Marge at Bingo and her lovely laugh as well. Such wonderful people. RIP Andy. Love and hugs to the entire family!

Memories

Dear Uncle Andy, my uncle, mentor of anything mechanical and friend. How truly blessed I've been to have had you in my life. So many things and great times shared from adventures on snow mobiles or card games at the cottage, to having Ottawa Rough Rider season tickets together for a few years, and never ever missing a single moment of any game thanks to you being our chaufeur in your monster truck climbing over anything impeding our way there or back. You climbed over curbs, snow banks & what ever was necessary. What a ride! We attended 2x Grey Cups together experiencing the Best Time in Toronto where I came home with a black eye thanks to a Tony Gabriel touch down that had a fan throw his arms and fist up in the air connecting to my face. Our bus ride home also had someone with a broken arm in a sling and another with a cast on their leg and crutches. We looked like we were returning from war rather then a Grey Cup. Then there was the one in Montreal where the snow and ice litteraly shut down the city. We almost slid down the stairs to our ice covered seats in the Big "O" that had no roof on it yet. We froze to death but had fun just the same. You taught me some mechanics of a car, (this from a man who kept his motor-cyle in the living room), how to wire or plumb a house and so much more. Your picture should have been on the Cover of "The Rolling Stone", but you did make it into National Geographic for rescuing people during the 100 year flood which we were all so proud of you. From family things, to Christmas (sitting on the floor on Forward Ave.with Kim protecting her from sliding down) to so much more. The memories are endless. If everyone in the world had 1 ounce of your kindness, what a better place it would be. Thanks for the ride Uncle Andy! Until we meet again, you'll always be close in my heart. Love you, Lynn xo
