(Winnipeg), Retired following 35 years with Canada Custom & Excise, 50 year member of the Masonic Order and founder of Club 55, Lombardy) In hospital in Perth on Thursday, May 14th, 2009 Robert John 'Jack' Ayers at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Constance E. (Owen) Ayers. Dear father and grandfather of Vicki (Paul) Bonenfant and their family Alex and Andrew of Hamilton and Karen (late Michel) Begin and their family Patrick, Christian and Melanie of Gatineau. Jack will be sadly missed by his brothers Gord (late Wilma) of Ottawa and Tom (Isabel) of Oxford Mills. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Sunday, May 17th, 2009 from 2 to 4 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 2:00 P.M. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Interment will then be held in Rideau Ferry Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to Bethel United Church or memorial fund of choice would be appreciated.
