Palmer, Margaret K. Peacefully at Broadview Nursing Centre, Smiths Falls on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 Margaret Kathleen (Munroe) Palmer in her 92nd year. Beloved wife for 67 years of Elwood Palmer. Loved mother of Marilyn (Peter) St. Louis of Ottawa and Lois Birtch of Kingston. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Evan (Rebecca) Birtch of Cambridge, Scott St. Louis (Alonna) of Ottawa and Kerri Birtch of Toronto. Predeceased by her brothers Leonard and Dan Munroe and sister Ada Abercrombie. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Thursday, July 16, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Trinity United Church Memorial Fund or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated. The Order of the Eastern Star will hold a service of remembrance on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.
