Child, Alistair "Al" Passed away peacefully at Rosebridge Manor, Easton's Corners, on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 in his 80th year. Predeceased by his parents Ernest Child and Catherine Binnie. Al was the father to Greg and brother to Norma Johnston. He will be fondly remembered by Sylvia Szayi, his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Friday, August 7, 2009 from 1 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3 o'clock. Interment will take place at Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
