So sorry to hear of Joan's passing. I remember the True family from Brockville Street in Smiths Falls so many, many years ago. Although it was Diane I played with as a small child, I do often think of your family and your Mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

"Joanie" was my babysitter when I was little. We lived on Lavinia St. ( Sharon, Sheila and Ann Currie). I think we were a pretty busy bunch, but Joanie was always patient. Your family has my sympathies.

She was one year ahead of us but sure took good care of her brother Mike and I and always gave us a lift to school in later years when she had the keys to the car! I will remember her

I will always think of Joan as a big sister. We went to school together at Saint James the Greater and Saint Francis. She was one year ahead of us but sure took good care of her brother Mike and I and always gave us a lift to school in later years when she had the keys to the car! I will remember her
