Harold was truly a wonderful gentleman. I remember asking him to come to my class at Chimo School to share his knowledge of hockey and collecting hockey cards.. My class was so enthralled with his knowledge, enthusiasm and love of card collecting...that he was there far over his allotted time. But Harold didn’t mind. Over the next few days every student in my class was collecting cards....he had a lasting impression on them.
My deepest sympathy to his family and many friends.....

Wendy we were so sad when we heard about Harold. Harold was both of our boss at RRC..He was loved by the staff as well as our residents. We shared a lot of great memories lots of laughs and also some tears, that went beyond RRC.He could bring a smile with his quick wit, and his music....often he'd add his own line to a song. Susie, Derek, Julie and Jennifer your dad spoke of you all often and was very proud of you. I am sure you all have lovely memories to share with your children of your dad. Good bye dear friend you are missed...you are all in our prayers Love Bev & Dan

I remember spending some enjoyable time at Harold's and Wendy's home in the days leading up to Julie's and Phil's wedding, with pool parties, dinners and other festivities. It was a lovely, welcoming, group of people, but It was my first time meeting many of them. Even though he must have been busy, Harold spent so much time showing me around his home, and chatting in such an easy manner. He was just a particularly friendly person. And of course he entertained the other guests in the same way as well. It was 10 years ago but the memory of Harold having this special quality is perfectly clear and meeting him was one of the most memorable parts of the wedding celebrations. I, as well as Kerry and the kids are thinking of your family at this time.

I would like to add my sincere condolences to Wendy and Family, on the loss of a Husband, Father, and Friend to this Community. Harold Frizell had a God Given talent, and a love for Music and People. He touched the Lives of Many, both on stage, at work during his time at the Rideau Regional Center, and in this Community that he was a huge part of, through his many hours of Community Involvement with the Smiths Falls Kinsmen club. He continuously offered his time and talent, in order to help organization's raise funds, and support others in times of need. This Community has lost another Champion, but his commitment and dedication towards his Family, and his Community will never be forgotten, and serves as a Huge example of what Caring and Friendship truly should Look and Feel. Rest Well my friend Harold. Your Music and Your Heart will Play On forever for all who had the privilege of getting to know You!! Hugh

Ann and I always enjoyed Harold's infectious laugh and great musical talent as well as his curling ability and friendship. These characteristics made Harold a great friend and person who entertained one and all. I remember when things got chaotic on the ward where Harold worked, he take out the guitar, and strum and sing, and suddenly there was peace again. Harold was such a kind and considerate man, who gave freely of himself to everyone he crossed paths with. We will certainly miss him and give our condolences to his family and friends.
