"The Boys"

When thinking of Fraser, we "The Boys" would get together Saturday nights at Jerry and April's house or at Frasers. Pierre, Jerry, Fraser and I loved nothing better than a cold beer, watching "The Game" (hockey) and playnig cards. In summertime, the 4 of us would play golf together on weekends.

I met Fraser in 1976 in Belleville, Ont., having moved from Toronto. My wife, Sharon was introduced to Fraser's sister - April. Sharon later moved in with the Scobel family for a time. Rose had the biggest heart and open house policy. Lewis and Sharon moved to Yellowknife NWT in 1981 and Fraser decided to join us on our move North. He worked as an airport maintenance worker, bouncer then Assistant Manager at the Rec Hall, hired bands, Dispatcher for Ptarmigan Airways and bricklayer for Lief Madsen.

While in Yellowknife, Fraser and Lew made many fishing trips to the East Arm of Great Slave Lake for trophy lake trout. We played hockey together for 10 years with Rec Hall Raiders hockey team. Another 5 years of hockey in Old Timers league. Lots of fun on the road for last minute hockey tournaments, and hockey team fishing trips will always be remembered.

Fraser decided to move back to Ontario, and was invited to live with Sharon's brother and wife - Stephen and Liz Brown on their hobby farm near Franktown, Ontario (Beckwith). He loved walking the dogs, camping, boating, fishing, August weekend parties and travelling to Nicarago. Fraser was an avid photograher and has captured many of life's moments with his friends.

Hard to believe he is gone, but we know he'll not be forgotten.

Miss you buddy,

Love Lew, Sharon, Christopher and Katherine Riviere
