Orr, Margaret Jean Peacefully at Perth on Saturday September 19th, 2009, M. Jean (Sturgess) Orr (Graduate of Brockville School of Nursing, 1942) at the age of 88 years. Jean was predeceased in 1950 by her first husband, James M. Moir and in 2006 by her second husband Lawrence S. Orr. She was the cherished and respected mother and grandmother of Martin (Karen) Moir and their children Lindsay (John) Ogg and Graeme Moir and Gregory (Nailah) Orr and their daughter Aneesa. She will be sadly missed by sister Agnes Ferguson, brother Cecil Sturgess, sister-in-law Dorothy Sturgess, family and good friends, Jean was predeceased by brother Calvern Sturgess and sisters Florence Maitland and Irene O'Dell. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth Friday September 25th from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Friday at 11:00 A.M. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Interment will take place in Wolford Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Perth & District Public Library would be appreciated.
