On behalf of the Canadian Federation of University Women Perth and District, we extend our condolences to the family and friends of dear Evelyn. She was a longstanding member of our club, an avid participant in bridge, French chat and a book club co-founder, amongst many other interests. An avid educator, we learned much from her and we had hoped to continue. We are saddened by the loss of her presence in our lives and we convey our heartfelt sympathy to Evelyn's beloved Jerry and to her family and friends. She will be missed.

Dear Jerry, so sad to hear of Evelyn's passing. I know she had been not feeling well for some time. We are in Florida and unfortunately not able to see you in person but please know that I will be missing her and feeling your pain. Evelyn was my high school french teacher in Lachute and we have been together in Perth for a long time. She is now in peace and no longer suffering. Please take care of yourself. Anne

We are deeply saddened by the news of Evelyn's passing. We shared many great years together at Wm. Armstrong Public School in Markham, Ontario. She was a valued French teacher and a member of the Armstrong crew during the 80s. We had some memorable teaching experiences and fun parties with her and Jerry over the years. She will be missed, but not forgotten. Deepest sympathies to the whole family.

We just heard today about Evelyn. We have very special memories of the family while we lived on Kennebec Lake including a short stay living in their trailer while our cottage was being renovated. I also worked with Evelyn at Armstrong school in Markham. Our thoughts and prayers are with Gerry and the family.
