Joan, Shirley and families. So sorry to hear the news of JB’s passing. Unfortunately we will miss the visitation and funeral as we are currently out of the country. I will miss seeing and chatting with JB at church. I will always remember our big adventure to Florida with the tent trailer and the many stories we came home with as teenagers. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Shirley, Joan and the entire Finn family - We were so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We were unable to make it to the wake and funeral. He always had stories for me of my Uncle Ed whom he worked with years ago on CP Rail. He was a very kind person and was always in great spirits. I will miss seeing him walking the streets to keep fit! I enjoyed talking to him whenever he came into Dr. Hicks's office. Bask in his memories and he will always be with you!

Dear Joan and family.
Greetings from Calgary, Alberta.
I am sorry for the loss of James. I remember him as a warm, generous man, and soft spoken and one who lived a long healthy life in his home. He aged gracefully. I was amazed that he could remember all of our names when he spoke to us.
I was so happy when Mother would tell us- "we are going to James and Joan's cottage this Sunday"- Mother would prepare the potato salad and the cabbage salad and more. Those were the best days of summer for a farm family- getting the opportunity to go to a lake-- swimming in a lake and getting a boat ride. The Sunday would start out with mass at St. Clare's church and we couldn't wait to go in the van to the cottage. Thank you to James and Joan.
Best to you Joan and family in the coming months as you go on with out your great family man.
Loretta McKenna

I am just learning of Jimmys passing. He was a good friend to Dad. Jimmy was genuine and took an interest in things and people. Can see him sitting in our kitchen shooting the breeze with Dad over a couple of drinks... or more. They loved their fortified wine.
My thoughts are with all the Finn family at this time. You will miss him.
