Our thoughts and prayers are with the Craig family at this time of sorrow. I didn't know Leo, but I did remember him at Canadian Tire. He was a very kind man, and always helped us find what we needed, I am sure he was a valued employee. He will be truly missed by all.

My sincerest condolences to the entire Craig family. Leo was a true gentleman. It is a testament to his character to have so many friends and good relationships. Leo will be remembered by so many as an honourable man.
I worked with Leo for a number of years at Canadian Tire. As a teenager in high school and through college Leo and I had numerous talks. Leo in his own gentle way would often provide common sense and direction to us younger folks that worked with him. I am sure we made him laugh as well at some of the foolish things we did at work and in our daily lives. In later years I would visit Leo at Canadian Tire and talk about his farm, cutting wood, and our families. Leo was a proud , hard working, kind gentleman. I will miss our talks.
Sincerely,
David Coleman

What a nice man.... we are so sad to hear that Leo has passed away. He was a wealth of knowledge... Canadian Tire will never be the same. It didn't matter what he was doing he always had time to answer all of our questions and find us what we needed. We will include his family in our prayers.

Dear Jean: it was with great sadness that we learned yesterday, from Jane Charles, about Leo's passing. We had a chance to see him in August at Canadian Tire and as always, he was incredibly helpful and pleasant. We have such fond memories of him - from the first time I met him in the mid-1980's. (My car had broken down in front of your house) and then again when you both came to our house to deal with that porcupine! He was so kind, good-natured and always calm. We can only imagine how big a loss he will be to you and your family. Know that we are thinking of you, Jean. Love, Wilma & Tony
