I was Effie’s hairdresser for many years. When she could no longer come to my salon, I came to her home. She was one of the sweetest ladies I ever had the pleasure to know. RIP sweet lady.

I came to know Effie when she lived at Carolina Court. We spent quite a bit of time together and I hold her memory in a special place in my heart that is reserved just for her. We shared a lot of giggle time and I learned so much from her. The world was a better place with Effie in it and we sure could use a lot more just like her.
