I'm very sorry to hear that Linda has passed. I'd known her for many years and just spoke to her last week while she was still in hospital looking forward to getting back to Broadview Nursing Home. I will miss Linda and her comment before hanging up from a call " I love You ". She's at peace now from all her medical problems. Goodby Linda and I love you.

My most sincere condolences on Linda's passing. I worked at Victoria House for almost 5 yrs when she lived there and was one the residents I missed the most when I left. Her big smiles and hellos when I'd come in and her hugs & kisses on the cheek at bed time, always followed up with "Love you! Don't let the bugs bite ya!ha ha ha!" brightened my day every time. In my mind I can see her sitting in her chair in the dining room under the window, waiting for breakfast while chatting away to me about her plans for the day. I'll never forget how proud she was and how independent she felt having her bike to run her various errands and to appointments. She was loved by so many people and we will all miss her and her infectious laugh terribly. Rest in peace, dearest Linda xo

Ron and I were both so very sad to hear of Linda’s passing. She truly was a real character and one of my most favorite people. We have been friends for over 35 years. She called us while in the hospital saying she was sick again. We planned on getting together in the near future for a meal. She so enjoyed going to restaurants. She had an amazing memory and would recall all the funny happenings that occurred when we were together. One time she fell down on the hill at our place. It was a gentle fall and she wasn’t hurt. The problem was, she couldn’t get up partially because she was laughing so hard. Our little dog kept licking her and she just roared. She mentioned that story to us on so many occasions. Another time we went boating. She got in the boat okay, but we had an awful time getting her back on land. Thank goodness she had a great sense of humor. Another time we went to a buffet supper at a local Chinese restaurant. She helped herself to a couple of generous portions and went back for one more. She then asked for a doggie bag so she could take it home and enjoy it later. The waiter didn’t know what to say. Linda always was so concerned about everyone she cared about. If there was a death in the family or someone was ill, Linda would always call and give her support. On the other hand, if Linda didn’t like someone, they knew it. Linda we will miss you. I am so sad you are gone. I know that if you were here you would be calling me now and telling me of the loss of another one of your friends. Rest In Peace dear friend.
