Perkins, George George passed away at the Perth Hospital on Thursday, May 17th, 2018 in his 92nd year. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Verna (Barr) Perkins. He was the cherished father of Ken (Sue Wynter) and Cheryl (late Mark Heasman) and devoted grandfather of Lisa (Laurent) Sevigny and Michael Perkins. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Peggy (late Glenn) Barr, many nieces, nephews and friends. George was predeceased by his parents Robert and May (Bell) Perkins and all his siblings and their spouses Robena, Earl (Merway), Borden, Chris (Leanore), Louise (John E. James). Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St., West, Perth on Tuesday May 22nd, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. A reception will follow in St. Paul's United Church Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
