Doig, Helen Mae Peacefully at Hilltop Manor, Merrickville, on Saturday, October 17th, 2009, Helen Mae (Belisle) Doig in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late John S. Doig. Loved mother of Jackie (Bob) Fairfield and Betty (Francis) Maxwell both of Smiths Falls, Barbara (Ron) Code of Horseshoe Valley, Ont., Richard of Richmond, BC. Sister of Mary Ann McKee and Betty Buckley both of Georgetown, Ont., and Loretta Erickson of Sudbury, Ont.. Sadly missed by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by sister Pearl Hall, brothers James, Billy, David, Arthur and Charlie and grandson Robert Maxwell. A family graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery, Merrickville, on Friday, October 23, 2009. In remembrance, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
