Cowherd, Gerald V. Gerald passed away in the Perth hospital on Sunday December 23d, 2018 at the age of 82 years. He was predeceased by his parents Ross and Marion (Lees) Cowherd. He will be sadly missed by his wife Rae J. (Rutherford) Cowherd, his son Peter (Lourdes), granddaughter Nydia, sisters Donna Giberson, Joanne and Lois Cowherd, brother Dale Cowherd and brother-in-law Brent Rutherford. Gerald retired following a career with the Government of Canada Public Service Commission. Services have been held for the family with interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Perth. In remembrance of Gerald, memorial donations to the Canada Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
