Eileen and her husband George were very close friends of our family for many years. As children, the back and forth visits between our homes were always fun and happy times. I trust that the Truloves and the Gilmours will continue those times, now that they are united once again.

Our Mother and Eileen were life long friends from the birth of their first sons. She was an extended part of our family and we were all very close to her. During the past few years, having visits with Eileen at Lanark Lodge and listening to the memories she had with Mum were wonderful...then it was always nice to hear all about her family and how proud she was of each of them...and no matter how she was feeling the day you visited, she always had a hug and was happy you were there....she will be greatly missed by us all.

So many memories with/of Eileen, for each of us LEESON children. With our Mum (Kathleen) and Eileen first meeting at the hospital, when both were having their first child, in 1947. An wonderful friendship and bond developed and our families became intertwined from that point on. That bond between Mum and Eileen was strong for the remainder of their years together. When our Mum passed away Feb/2015, it was just as hard on Eileen as it was for any member of our family. We loved Eileen dearly...to Gordon,Dave and families, our sincere love and condolences .....

Your mother is an indelible memory of my childhood. The time I spent with my grandparents, Les and Marie Brown, was also filled with her and your Dad. Her beaming smile and gentle nature made me feel like part of your family too. Sitting between the houses, she and Granny preparing some vegetable that Clevie had dropped off that morning...I can see it as if it was yesterday. She was well loved. I'm sure she's having a rip-roarin game of cribbage or euchre with all those who went before her.</p>
