Bowes, Douglas James 'Doug' Doug passed away in the presence of his family in hospital in Perth on July 5th, 2018 at the age of 78 years. He was predeceased by his parents Alex and Laura (Douglas) Bowes and his sister in infancy. Loved partner of Heather VanDusen. Cherished father of Jim (Carolyn) Bowes, their family Jessie Bowes, Erica and Vanessa and Nancy (Doug) Thompson and their family Randy (Melina Esser) with great grandson to arrive in November, Dale (Mesha) Thompson and Katelyn Thompson (Kelsey Smith). Doug will be fondly remembered by Heather's family Bill (Cathy), Shirley (Steve) Hargrave and Matt; Bill and Cheryle Reynolds who were a great support through the journey and Cheryl Cooper who was a dear friend to Doug for many years. Service will be held at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Saturday, July 14th, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Private interment will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Middleville. In remembrance, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
