Thomas, Leonard G. In hospital in Kingston on Saturday November 7th, 2009, Leonard G. Thomas (of Kingston, former life long resident of Ompah) at the age of 87 years. Leonard was predeceased by parents Mary (Morrow) and William Thomas, he was the loved husband for 65 years to Gladys I. (Massey) Thomas; cherished father of Yvonne (Brent) Killingbeck, Marlene (Cliff) Wiseman, Terry (Barbara) Thomas and Sandra Thomas of Perth, Pamela (Kerry) Porteous of Smiths Falls and the late Stan Thomas and Carolyn Thomas. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Millie Thomas, nieces, nephews, brothers Bill (late Rose) and Bud (Norma) Thomas and sister Mae (late Norm) McDonald; predeceased by brothers Wyman (late Katie), Russell (late Jewel), Ray (late Jewel) and sisters Greta (Herb) Johnson, Lila (late Jim) Park and Winnie (late Lorne) Massey. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth, Monday November 9th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Tuesday at 10:00 A.M., followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. The interment will take place in Ompah Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Ompah Fire Department or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
