I’m sending my sympathies to the family of dear "Mrs. Duncalfe” who taught my sister, Ann Currie at Jean Vanier. Mrs. Duncalfe left a great legacy of service, care and compassion. Not just for her students, but for their families as well. We always knew Ann was in the very best hands when Mrs. Duncalfe was in charge. Much of Ann’s life achievement came from having a teacher who encouraged her to strive for her very best. I sure hope she knew what a tremendous force she was in the lives of so many, and that this is comforting to those who will miss her. God speed, Mrs. Duncalfe. I know Ann will be there to greet you and welcome you "home”.

Judy and family: I'm very sad to hear of the loss of your dear mother.I know that you have many interesting stories about her throughout the years. Keep these close to your heart as they will bring you comfort in your difficult times as you get through these next few days. I know that many of these stories would brighten some of my days when my dad was in his last days with dementia.I would think of some story about going to church and I would have to chuckle.
