Anyone who worked with Craig can tell you what a fine man he was. I was privileged to be part of this wonderful man’s working life for 22 years. Craig was kind, honest, fair, compassionate, loyal and generous. He was the easiest person to work with and from whom I learned priceless lessons. A true gentleman, Craig always treated me with respect and support and made sure I knew I was appreciated and valued. He gave energy, commitment and inspiration to people with whom he worked. Craig had a beautiful smile, a great sense of humour and a gentle demeanour. He had great intellect and a big heart. A devoted family man who cherished his wife and children.
The world has lost a doting father, a loving husband, one-of-a-kind boss and a dear friend. He will be missed terribly.
Jennifer, Kaitlyn and Connor - your loss is far greater and immeasurably deeper and I can’t help ease your sorrow except to share your pain and grief and let you know that I am only an email away if you need anything at all.
Love and Prayers,
Miriam

Jennifer...this news took my breath. I CAN imagine how Craig must have been cared for and loved by you and your children - "devoted wife" indeed. Craig was the epitimy if "salt of the earth" and always such a gentleman. I have such warm memories of Craig. Your wedding solidified the grandness of your union. My heart goes out to the entire Brooks family, love Ali Mason

Dear Jennifer, Kaitlyn and Connor,
Craig was not only someone that I worked closely with through the years at BLG, but he was also a dear friend. We spent much time in each other's offices, not only conferring on work, but discussing family, hockey and just about everything else. Our few hundred lunches over the years gave us much opportunity to share and enjoy each other's company. No matter what was going on, Craig would always have time to listen and offer his wise thoughts. And, it was always clear that he cared. It is memories like this that makes life rich and I could not have imagined going through all those years without a great friend like Craig to share them with.
Jennifer, Kaitlyn, as you go through this difficult time, please remember that there are many lives that Craig touched and who were enriched by his presence and caring.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Jennifer and family,
I am an old friend of Craig's from law school and have very fond memories of our days playing hockey together on the law school intramural team. We had a really close group and Craig often gave me a ride to and from games. We had many laughs together on and off the ice.
Craig was a great teammate and friend and I have no doubt he was a wonderful husband and father as well.
I was shocked and saddened to hear about Craig's passing. Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss.
