Axford, Doris E. Doris passed away unexpectedly at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Saturday July 28th, 2018 at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her parents John and Joanna (McArtin) Lowe, her husband Alfred J. Axford , her son William and daughter Joyce Axford (Richard Dewar) and her siblings Roy (Isabel) Lowe, Gladys (Russell) Manchester, Elsie (Murray) Campbell, Elva (Eric) Munroe, Jean (Dalton) Jelly and Hilda Lowe. Doris was the loved and respected mother of Danny (Myra), Robert and Gary (Lucy) Axford, Barbara (Bob) Cummings and Heather Jannack (Rick Gunn). She will be fondly remembered by her brother Earl (Kay) Lowe, sister Edna (Don Carruthers) McNeely, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and all her family. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N.,Smiths Falls Thursday August 2nd, 2018 from 9:30 until 11:00 A.M. Family and friends will gather for a service to honour her life at 11:00 A.M. The interment will be held in Hillcrest Cemetery followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. In remembrance of Doris, memorial donations to M.A.A.D or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
