Our family is deeply saddened by the passing of "Uncle Bud” as our family knew him. He was Bill’s older brother and had the wanderlust even as a young man, so a close bond was never entered into but he was still a very important part of Bill’s family. However in later years, we visited him at Bass Lake, admired the renovations he made to his home and he told us how they survived the ice storm of 1998 (?). Even although we have not kept in close contact these last few years, our thoughts were often of him and you, Danny and Kim. Facebook brought you, Danny and Manuela, our daughter-in-law in contact recently, how great! Unfortunately none of us are not able to be with you at this difficult time, but our prayers and thoughts are with you as you say farewell to your Dad.

Our deepest condolences to Kim & Danny on the loss of your Dad. It’s interesting to see his name as David Hannah, since we all knew and loved him as our Uncle Bud.
Wishing the family strength to carry on without him. Sorry we weren’t able to be at the funeral, since Keith is battling his own heath issues, but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

On behalf of my mother Mary, my brother Tim and my children that were old enough to remember my Uncle Bud I would like to express my sincere condolences to my cousins Dan and Kim, and to Ellie on his passing. The times that I saw him he always treated me with respect and he had a great sense of humor, I cannot thank him enough for telling me stories about his brother, my father and everyone’s Uncle Johnny when they were together, Lord knows what trouble they are causing together now........God Bless, Martin Hannah

My deepest sympathy to Danny and Kim on your Dad's passing. I have many fond memories of your cottage at Bass Lake and your house in Navan. Your Dad would pick me up in Ottawa and Drive me to your place for the weekend. He was always friendly even when we got into trouble. Cherish the memories, he will always be by your side.
