Peterson, Patricia I. Surrounded by her loving husband of 64 years, children and their partners, grandchildren and great grandchildren, if not in body, but in spirit, Patricia Irene Peterson (Young) aged 84 years died peacefully on August 3, 2018 after a long illness. She was greatly loved and respected by her husband Harlan (Pete) Peterson, children Christine (Ronald) MacLaren, Karen Peterson (Jim), Kathrine (James) McHale, Deborah Stoate (Michelle), Stephen (Helen) Petersen and Dianne (Ray) Elderbroom. Patricia is survived by three siblings, brothers Michael (Diane) and Jack (late Marie) Young and sister Anne Marie (Gary) Burr. She was also a loving caregiver to her many nieces, nephews and friends. Patricia will always be in our thoughts and prayers and so truly missed. We were all blessed to have had her in our lives. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore Street W., Perth Monday August 6th, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John’s Church, Perth Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Those wishing to honour Patricia’s life are asked to consider a memorial donation to the Lung Association or the Lanark County Cancer Society "Wheels of Hope” program. Patricia’s family extend a special thank you to Dr. Ferrier, Dr. Xu and the most wonderful staff at Lanark Lodge for their extraordinary care.
