Charles Alexander was a composite of most of the qualities of an RCAF officer. He was a slightly formal man, with an excellent knowledge of both his vocation and his surroundings. He loved his family, who returned that love; he was a good friend and workmate; and he gave fair value to his profession. ( He was also a lot of fun at a party and himself raised macaroni & cheese casseroles to unnecessary heights.) Charles was acknowledged to a brave and experienced navigator. Edna and I and his several friends will never forget him. Our deepest sympathy to Fran and the family.
