Girard, M. Edna (nee Bisonette) Edna passed away peacefully at Broadview Nursing Centre, Smiths Falls on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the age of 97. Edna lived most of her life in Montreal until she returned to Smiths Falls after the death of her husband Gerry Girard. Loved sister of Rita (the late Gerome) Kelly. Predeceased by her brothers Frank, Bernard, Edmund and Don Bisonette and sisters Elaine (Orley) Sparks, Marg (Alf) Vallier, Geraldine (Michael) Sullivan and Laura Bisonette. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends over the years at Colonel By Apartments, Willowdale Retirement Residence and Broadview Nursing Centre. A graveside service in Edna's memory will be held at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception at the Blair & Son Reception Centre, Smiths Falls. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to LAWS or a charity of your choice.
