We only just heard of the passing of Eileen. We are so happy that we got to visit her on January 14th although she was bed-ridden with that broken big toe. She was in good spirits and remembered Al & Sue but she especially enjoyed visiting with Mattie our brown Standard Poodle who, with little encouragement from Eileen, hopped up onto her bed and mutually connected!! This will be our wonderful last memory of a great lady, kindred spirit and connection to my Mother, her cousin and good friend Louisa Melita (Picton) Wakelin. I really want to thank my cousin Gary Picton for re-connecting me to both Eileen and her brother Ewart Picton late last summer. We had lost track of both them after Louisa passed in the spring of 1994. Sue & I give our heart felt condolences to Cousin David and his family, particularly Little Leslie, whose visit with Grandma to Stratford way back when is still warmly remembered by our family!!
