McNamee, Michael It is with heartbreaking relief that we announce that Michael died at home, in Perth, Ontario, on Sunday, November 18th, after his nearly three year fight with cancer, at the age of 62 years. He was with his lovely wife and partner, Vance. Michael was the adored son of Mary and the late Pete McNamee and loving and proud stepfather of Trail, Maya (Rich), Ethan (Natalie), and Daniel (Kim). He was the older brother to sisters Mary Anne (Dean) Nicholson; Diane (Rob) Corbett; Patti Lyn (Paul) Cheesman, Lisa (Liz) Adams and the late Janis McNamee. He was a cool uncle, funny and loyal friend, caring nurse, and awesome self-taught musician who was loved and respected by all whose lives he touched. Vance wishes to especially thank Bayshore Home Health, Michael's amazing mom and sisters, his wonderful cousins and the entire McNamee family, her spiritual family at St David's Austin, Stewart Blair for his personal attention, her beautiful children and their partners, and everyone who has messaged them these past few months.
