Hi Kathy, I went to SS # 14 School with Alan and John for 8 years; And my Brother, Glendon Moore attended school with Alan and John also. I walked by Alan's home on the 10th Line (as it was known then) every day to school; And in the Winter at lunch time, many of us from the school went to Alan and John's Farm to slide on their hill until the bell rang to bring us back to school. My Husband, Denny and I send you our heartfelt condolence on Alan's passing; And we Hope that One Day At A Time; You and all of Alan's family and friends will feel better soon. I am sorry to learn of the passing of 'Big Al'. I had the pleasure of working with him, on the old LSM reader project. I found him to be both knowledgeable, and stubborn, in the way that he would not accept failure, and always tried to find "a better way". I remember sharing some roaring laughs with him in Toronto, and I always tell people of "Big Al", the man with hands the size of baseball mitts. I remember his loyalty and commitment to his job at Canada Post, and the integrity with which he played his part in the company.
