Cheng, Steve Tat Ming January 20, 1947 - January 1, 2010 Passed away suddenly at the Ottawa Civic Hospital with his beloved wife Paulina (Seto) by his side, on New Year's Day, January 1, 2010 at the age of 62. Loving father to Henry of Ottawa, and Vicky Cheng (Minh Dong) of Scarborough. Cherished brother to Sheila (the late Bill) Lam of Toronto, Johnny Cheng of Toronto, Connie (Matthew) Liu of Smiths Falls, May (Kenneth) Wong of Toronto, Sam (Rita) Cheng of Toronto and Maybo (Michael) Mui of Trenton. He will be fondly remembered by his many other nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Steve was born in Hong Kong and was the first of seven children of the late Jane and Andrew Cheng. Steve was a devoted person who loved to work, even after being urged by family to retire, he always made time for his long-time clients. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
