We had so much in common with our love of animals Uncle Doug. Sad I never got to meet you, only to hear about you from your cousin (my mum, the late Elvira (Vera) Dorothy Moody. Her mother was Dorothy (Dots) Manning, her father Joe Wood. I spoke to Coral once by phone from New Zealand, via my late dad Clifton (cliff) Moody, and I am honoured to retain a print and a set of plates from Uncle Doug, for my home. Thank you. Uncle Doug The opportunity never arose to meet you Uncle Doug. New Zealand is a long way away. However, I heard many warm and wonderful stories from your cousin - my mum (the late Elvira Moody ne Wood), about you. I treasure the art and Big Cats set of plates you sent to us, and I thank you most sincerely. Rest In Peace Uncle Doug, and my love to Coral.
