Buckingham, Donald In hospital in Kingston, following a short illness on his 87th birthday, Saturday January 23rd, 2010. Donald was the cherished husband of Mary (Craven) Buckingham; he was the respected uncle of Ronald (Linda) Craven, Kenneth (Lucy Slykerman) Craven, Charles (Susan) Buckingham, Elizabeth (John Stevenson) Buckingham and Alexander (Grace) Buckingham, Margie (Pat) Coombs, Karen (John) Kennedy and Cathy Buckingham and other nieces and nephews; brother-in-law of June Buckingham. He was predeceased by his brothers Kenneth and George Buckingham. Donald was retired from Avon Canada in Montreal and the Bank of Nova Scotia. Don enjoyed many hours aboard his boat and was a former member of the St. Lawrence Yacht Club, Dorval Quebec. After his boating years, he and Mary traveled extensively enjoying RVing and visiting family and friends across this country and beyond. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth Wednesday January 26th, 2010 from 2 to 5 P.M. Funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel Thursday at 11:00 A.M. immediately followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery, Smiths Falls.
