Baas, Trudy S. (Nee van Marken) Passed away peacefully in hospital, Smiths Falls on Friday, February 5, 2010 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Baas. Devoted mother of Wil (the late Randi) Pritchard of Lombardy, Carol (Andy Larocque) of Ottawa, and the late Shirley Baas. Trudy was a cherished "Oma" to Brandon and Matthew Pritchard, Samantha Head, and Raymond, Chantal, and Daniel Scott. She will also be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 o'clock. There will be a private interment for family at Pinecrest Cemetery at a later date. Trudy's family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors and staff on the second floor of the Smiths Falls Hospital, for their wonderful care and concern.
