My deepest sympathy to you all. I have such special memories of Brenda and our many times together; I especially treasure her stained glass - a lasting tribute to a little bit of her talent. I will do my best to be in Perth on Tuesday but work still keeps me busy. Blessings and God Bless and keep you. Eileen

Dear Francis and Family,
My memories of Brenda; I remember meeting her in 1970 when she first came to Ottawa to work for the Federal Government (Revenue Canada) on Heron Road. We worked together in a large typing pool (before computers - the time of the electric typewriter) with 50 other girls. We had some great times. I was the city girl and she was the country girl. I recall once taking her to see the Parliament Buildings and coaching her on how to cross at the lights. She said, "Ben, do you think we have traffic lights in Hopetown!!” She was scared skinny (we had a good laugh). Around 1995 our lives crossed paths again, when she opened her store at Holland Cross in Ottawa. At that time I was working in the offices upstairs for the City of Ottawa. I would drop in everyday for a little chat.
Brenda was very talented in so many ways. I will always cherish the two lovely stained glass windows that I had commissioned from her for our home; we have received many compliments on them.
Our deepest sympathy to you and the family. Denis and I will miss her very much, she was my friend.
Brenda and Denis Houle

I cannot find the words to say just how wonderful this lady was. She will live on in my heart and memory always. I know that love never dies it is a constant gift one shares for all of eternity. May you know as I do how much she loved her family and friends and may we all make her proud of our lives. Living them each day as she would want us to giving back the love she taught us to share. Love Trish
