I was so saddened to hear of Walter's passing. During my time as a member of Lanark County Council, I came to know him as someone who was not only very dedicated to doing the best job possible, but also a truly fine gentleman -- they don't come any better.
I am sorry that I am unable to attend the visitation and service, but please accept my sincerest condolences.

June and Family Please accept our sincere condolences on the occasion of Walter's death. He was a person that stands out in all our memories as a good friend and well respected in the community. I will always remember him as a considerate and conscientious fellow worker at he County for all those years we worked together. Unfortunately, we are in Florida at the present time and will not be able to attend the wake or funeral but please know that our thoughts are with you and your family.
