Obituary of R. Cameron Chaplin

Chaplin, R. Cameron At Lanark Lodge, Perth - peacefully on St. Patrick's Day, Wednesday, March 17th, 2010 Cameron Chaplin (former co-owner of Chaplin Dairy, Veteran of WWII) at the age of 90 years. Cameron was predeceased by his beloved wife Betty (Truman) Chaplin in 1997. Dearly loved and respected father and grandfather of Sheila (Orion) Clark, of Perth and their family Dr. Dana (Tom) McCarthy and their sons Cameron and Ewen, Bruce (Tammy) Clark and their sons Cameron and Mason Clark, Dr. Bob (Linda), of Perth, their son Christopher (Starr) and their son Ethan, and Cathryn Chaplin of Toronto. Dear brother of Betty (late Howard) McGregor, Winnifred (Al Chaffey) and the late Helen O'Gorman (Bob) Code, John (Orpha), Donald, and Gordon (Lorna). His sister-in-law Doris Chaplin, nieces, nephews, extended family and a lifetime of friends fondly remember him. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Friday, March 19th, 2010 from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. Family interment will occur at a later date. For those wishing to do so, in remembrance contributions to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation, 33 Drummond St. W. Perth, Ontario K7H 2K1 or the Lanark Lodge Memorial Fund, R.R.# 4 Perth, Ontario K7H 3C6. A legacy of love; forever in our hearts. Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 244 Perth will hold a Veteran's Service of Remembrance on Friday at 6:15 P.M.
