Fraser, Marie Peacefully at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 just as "morning had broken" at the age of 75. She has gone to be reunited with her beloved husband, Art. Marie will be greatly missed by her loving sons Blair (Janice) and Jay, and her sister Pat. Predeceased by her parents Gillespie and Kathleen Carew. She began her life's journey in Newfoundland, and followed her husband (RCAF) to Quebec, Germany, Ottawa and Nova Scotia. Her journey will end when she is placed according to her wishes beside her husband in Pictou County, Nova Scotia, and a graveside ceremony will be held there at a later date. In remembrance, contributions made to the Lanark Lodge Memorial Fund or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated. When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloomy filled room, why cry for a soul set free. Miss me a little, but not for long not with your head bowed low, remember the love that we all shared, miss me but let me go.
