He was so full of energy and always seemed to have that giant smile on his face. Dan and Linda you did a great job with your kids and they are all a pleasure. Dear Mick's family and friends:
My deepest condolences to you on the loss of your son, brother and friend. I met Mick through my daughter Beckie when he first moved to Perth. He was at our house quite often to visit and usually looking for homemade squares. Over the years when I would see him he would hug me and ask me to make him squares. Mick was a very special wonderful young man who loved his family and friends very much and wasn't shy about showing it to anyone. My thoughts are with all of you in the days to come. I know my children Beckie, Jamie and Danny and I will remember the good times with Mick and how he became a good man.

So very, very sorry about your loss.
I know that words and prayers cannot stop your pain, but here is a quote that I hope may ease a little of your sorrow.
"When you look out at the sky tonight, don't think of them as stars, but as porch lights welcoming your loved one home.
Our thoughts are with you, bowed in sadness.

To the D'aoust family,
We morn the loss of your beloved son Micky. I was in great shock when we received the telephone call while visiting my family in Alberta. I am lucky in one way I got to watch this young man grow up from a toddler. My son and I got to enjoy all kinds of camping trips with your family, and watching his smiling face each time when your family went camping. Him and Dan were so close, they sure liked the 4 wheeler, fishing and lots of ventures along the way. I remember when he got his first car, he lit up like a light bulb, and his first job. He sure like fixing cars and doing many other ventures. All in all he was a great man, I am so sorry for your loss. We have lots of good memories of him with pictures and videos while growning up. Our family sends our sympathies to your family. May God give you strenght in your hour of need.

This candle represents the bright light Mick brought into our family's life. Through it, may you feel the light shining into the dark corners of your hearts turning the shadows into the brightness of his smile and laughter. We love you, Mick, and will forever cherish the memories.

A Great Guy
Mick was one of the nicest guys that I ever had the pleasure of knowing. He always greeted you with that big smile of his and always seemed genuinely happy to see you. I have worked with him, played hockey, horseshoes and everything in between with him and sat around campfires with him, he was just such an all around great kid. My family are glad that we had gotten to know Mick as well as we had, he truly was a treasure and will be sadly missed. Farewell Mick.
