So sorry to hear of the passing of Mark. When we were much younger, my parents (Floyd and Helen Guthrie) would bring my brother Randy and I to visit Uncle Leslie and Aunt Doris. We had so much fun playing with our cousins! It was a wonderful and special time. Mark was younger than me and I remember how he was so cute and kind. I remember reading to him - from the comic book collection that was upstairs. My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

We are saddened to learn of Mark's passing. He was a beautiful person. Our memories go back to his younger days, when as a boy and then a teen he attended the same church. He was polite and had a gentle spirit; always smiling and friendly; as well, a great athlete... a wonderful person to have known for a short time here. Yes, he made life better for many. Our condolences go to Lori and her two boys. May they grown up to bring honor to their Dad by emulating his example. God bless each of you!

A real gentle Giant with a heart of gold, always a smile and kinds words. My deepest condolences to Mark's families. May they remember the good memories and how much of a great man he was. My most sincere sincere condolences on Mark's passing. I've been a friend since we were kids, it's hard to imagine a world without that big smile, that generous nature and that fun loving spirit....so many good memories of a truly exceptional man. A true Gentle Giant, Mark was like a force of nature, once experienced never forgotten.
Now that great, kind heart has stilled, we are left with the solace that those of us fortunate enough to have known Mark, are better for the experience. Unforgettable.
Rest In Peace, my friend.

Mark worked for our Dad for several years at MG Crane. Mark's positive and kind nature made him a favourite with our parents. We are truly sorry for your loss Lori, and for your family. Some of us were in school with Mark, sharing the bus from Glen Tay and Dewitt's Corners. On the football field he demonstrated he could be other than gentle, but off the field was always a true gentleman and kind to those not as big and strong - which was actually everyone else. Our Mom and Dad would want you to know how much they appreciated Mark as a co-worker, a neighbour and a friend. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
