Dear Bill and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Growing up, I knew of Marie before I ever met her: she and my mum were childhood friends, and "Sweet Marie" figured prominently in several of my mother's fondest memories of growing up in Perth. When I met Marie, I immediately understood why she was on my mother's list of all-time favourite people. Such a big heart, and infectious laugh; she lived life to the fullest. Marie will be sadly missed by so many.

Dear Bill and family - My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family during this difficult time. I did not know that Marie was ill and so very shocked to hear of her passing. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. She was such a lovely and fun person to be around and I remember many good times spent with you both. Personally I am still adjusting to my life without Brian but I am thankful for the love and support of my family and friends. Time may ease the pain but our memories will last forever.

Dear Bill and Family,
You are in my thoughts at this difficult time. My sisters and I all knew of "Sweet Marie" before we ever had the chance to meet her, from stories that our mother would tell us about growing up in Perth. And while I distinctly recall that remarkable (and lucky!) day when my mother and Marie reconnected completely by chance, Marie's warmth made it seem like I'd known her forever, too.
I have many fond memories that include laughing with Marie and I know that her sense of humour, her generous spirit and her joie de vivre will be sadly missed by many, including me.
With love,
Chris

Dear Bill and family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. I was really shocked to hear of Marie's passing. I was just looking through pictures of mom and dads and saw the ones of you and them with Ken Pettigrew at a cottage. Memories are all we have now. I remember the time that I went to clean for you and Marie and she wanted to see if I was a good as people said do you remember? She and the boys placed Lego all over the house to see if I found it all even behind the toilet. She never told me until after I had it all picked up and placed on the table after about the third time I was there. Boy did I curse those Lego She was a wonderful lady and will always be remembered.
Take Care
