I was saddened to hear of Desi's passing. I remember the twinkle in his smile, much like my Dad's when they got together! When I was a young child, Dad told me Desi Arnez was coming to our house. Of course I believed him. When Desi showed up, I thought to myself, I guess actors can look different than when they're on tv. Dad and Desi thought it was a great little trick!
Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of a nice man. I hope your many memories will help you through this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to you all on your loss. I remember meeting Desi when as a young boy I would go with my dad to the hunt camp. Des was always there and I enjoyed hearing his stories and even learned a thing or two. I eventually became a member myself a still enjoyed listening to Desi's stories. This year's deer hunt at Maple Ridge Hunt Camp will seem different without Desi there for the first time in 62 years but he will always be remembered fondly.
